General Conference Weekend

Well, we were able to have a pretty relaxing weekend. As relaxing as you can get with two little ones wanting to do ANYTHING except watch conference. But it was great in any case.
Ryan's surgery went pretty well Friday. The doctor felt that removing Ryan's adenoids at the same time was a good choice, he said they were "pretty ugly". Ryan seems to be feeling ok, not 100%, but we should see a big difference in the next week. Right now he is still crabby and not eating very well. And he olny seems to want his dad.
Let's see. We were able to ge the kids to the park between sessions, despite the weather. They had a lot of fun. We had dinner with the Smih Family tonight and celebrated a couple of birthdays. Alison turned 12 and Trisha turned, I'm not sure how old, maybe 25. We will be having Ryan's first birthday party coming up in a couple of weeks. Hard to believe how the time flies.

Nathan kind of had a rough weekend. He was really in a foul mood on Saturday, so much so that Joel and I needed to "escape" for a couple of hours. Grandma and Kathy came to stay with the boys and they didn't have any trouble with them. I guess the boys were sick of us, too. Nathan seemed better on Sunday, but he still seems to be so moody all the time. Nothing seems to go his way, at least in his mind. We are hoping this is a stage and he won't always be this crabby.
