I hate that I have to have a title.
Happy New year to all. Hope everyone had a nice holiday season.
So here we go:
Ryan is turning into a little boy right before our eyes. We are actually thinking he may be ready to get into a toddler bed. We are still thinking it over though, he is an early bird and, well, you know. Ryan started having some trouble a little over a month ago when one of his ear tubes fell out. His ear got infected right away and pretty much stayed infected until a week ago when we were able to have the tube reinserted. Luckily, he didn't have to be put completly out for this procedure and has bounced right back with no problems. Hopefully we will have the same success we had last time we did tubes, for Ryan's sake. Other than that, Ry has been getting some speech therapy and is really trying to use his words. He gets really happy when you can understand what he is trying to say. Some of his new favorite words are: basketball, baseball, show, and baby einstien (funny he says this clear as a bell). He is an absolute doll and makes friends everywhere he goes.
Nathan has started Sunbeams at Church now. I can't really say that he loves it, but he is going and trying to enjoy it. He went to a Primary activity yesterday and seemed to have fun. They decorated cookies and he always enjoys activities involving candy. Nathan also got a new "regular" bed. We moved his toddler bed out and he likes to, of course, jump on the new bed. How do we instinctivly know that we should jump on beds?? It is like a natural instinct. Other then that, Nathan has been spending lots of time prefecting his negotiation skills by swiddling trips to Toys R Us with his dad. Amazing.
Joel is still the Yound Men's president in the ward. He likes it, and hopes it is over soon. He is still working toward agency with State Farm. We are happy about this, but glad that it is a long process as we know it is a big step.
I got a new calling at Church this last month. I am no longer in the Primary =-(, but I was called as the education cousler in the RS. Yikes.
We all had great Christmas. The boys really were fun, they were so excited about all of it. The singing, the parties, the presents, Nathan has alread asked when it will be Christmas again.
