Easter Weekend

The weekend was really good. The kids had their egg hunt at school on Friday and brought home lots of goodies. Joel was off work in the afternoon to enjoy his Christmas present for the boys and me, an hour and a half massage, so we went together and picked up the kids and hit the park for an hour or so. It was such a beautiful day. We went home and Joel got us Applebee's car side-to-go and the boys McDonald's. A pretty good start to the weekend. On Saturday morning the kids started bright and early eating candy (Nathan was up and ready at 7:30). I should mention that the Easter bunny came Friday night/Saturday morning to leave baskets. During the week, on school days, I have to drag him out of bed at 8:00, but never on Saturday. We had a couple new movies in the baskets, Bolt and Pinocchio. We spent most of Saturday watching videos and playing outside. Sunday morning we went to Jason and Courtney's new house and had a great egg hunt there. Their new house is beautiful and they have a nice big backyard. We took Duke along to get some"big dog" time and give Leroy a little "old dog" time to rest. Leroy is a good sport, but gets a little tired of Duke. On Sunday we also celebrated Ryan's 3rd birthday with all the cousins. We had a Alvin and the Chipmunks cake and Ry got a new Power Rangers ball, a fishing game, a ball and Velcro glove to practice catching, and a couple new books. He really was more happy that everyone came to sing and have cake. Back to work and school today. Why are the weekends so short!!?? I'll post some fun pictures soon. I can no longer put pictures on my work computer so I have to do that from home.
