Water pipe
Joel and I noticed when we bought our house that we didn't get great water pressure. Well, in the last 6 years it has gotten MUCH worse. We couldn't run a sprinkler and it was taking 20 minutes to fill our little wash machine. Well, since we know someone in the business, we had our water pipe leading to the house replaced. When Ted got the yard dug up and took a look, our sewer pipe was quite full and sagging. Ted was surprised it was even still working and hadn't backed up into the house. He said "everything I touch turns into a can of worms". Poor Ted. So Joel took the afternoon off work to help. He got front row seats to the removal and replacement of our sewer pipe and the installation of a new water pipe. Needless to say we have AWESOME water pressure now. I didn't realize how exciting it could be to run a sprinkler, do the dishes and fill the washer all at once!! I don't know that we would ever need to do that, but it is really nice to know we could! I filled the washer last night in 5 minutes! The boys are loving all the dirt we have now. They wanted to make mud so bad last night.
Also, I was chatting with Nathan yesterday and he has decided he would like to be a "ding ding" man (ding ding trucks are ice cream trucks). I was hoping for an engineer.

Well, things could be worse... he could have a desire to be Venom or Spiderman or something... ;)
Now you can power flush and stop wasting so much money on plungers for Joel ;)
