7 weeks

Michaela is growing so much! She is about 9 lbs now (I think) and seems longer too. She is eating about 4-5 oz every 3-4 hours and sleeping in between. She does have a little fussy time, but usually it doesn't last very long. She loves Daddy and Daddy loves her. They like to snuggle in the chair together. We got the swing set up last night and I put her in for the first time this morning. She loved it! She slept for 2 hours solid. She doesn't do that very often during the day. It was bliss. Nathan is getting ready to finish up Kindergarten next week. He is ready for 1st grade already. He and Ryan will be going to Grandpa Gary's this summer. They are very excited to get to play outside everyday and play with their cousins. I hope Grandpa is as excited! I am planning on returning to work next week for half days and coming back full time after Memorial Day. It is good to come back, but I am so sad to be leaving Michaela. Luckily, she will be in very good hands. I have been off work for 4 months, it will really take some adjusting to get back into the swing. Mornings are going to be tough I think. Overall we are all doing very well and adjusting to life with Micki.
