Freaking cold

it has been very cold here (everywhere) this week and we have been doing our best to stay warm. We were all in the house for the last two days and I can tell you we were ready to break free. It is about 20 degrees today and it feels so good in the sun! Update on everyone: Joel has Mono!! He is so tired, but is trying to be a trooper. The rest of us should be OK, Web MD says that you don't get it twice (me) and little kids aren't usually effected by it too much. Heather doesn't have much to report other than the cold. Brrrr. Oh, and I am almost done with the Hunger Games books, I thought they were really good. Nathan has pulled two of his teeth and is getting an adult tooth already. He has been placed in an "extended enrichment" class at school. It is brand new, but I am thinking it is something to help challenge him outside of the classroom. I am thinking more project type assignments, but we'll see how that goes. Ryan is reading some and writing. He seems to like school, but would rather play video games. He is a bit of a freak about playing games. We won't talk about that though. He loves his little sister and is always ready to play with her. He loves to see her smile. Micki is growing too fast! She has two teeth now and can stand on her own pretty well. She doesn't walk or crawl, but manages to get what she wants. She does a funny little twist move while sitting and gets around pretty well. She does try to crawl a little but it is hard for her on the wood floors. She is the sweetest little baby still and I hope she never changes. She likes to play games like: she says Dada, I say Mama, she says Dada, looks at Dada, looks at me and laughs, says Dada again. She also loves Leroy, she thinks he is a very funny guy. Leroy likes to sit next to her while she eats because she plays with his ears.
