Nathan decided, after much deliberation, to be Batman this year. He put his costume on Friday night for the Church party and really didn't take it off until yesterday before dinner. It is totally filthy. Ryan chose to be a firefighter. Not a fireman, but a firefighter. He was adorable. We took the kids trick-or-treating around our neighborhood and they really had fun. Seems like the first year they really got what was going on. Ryan kept getting scared though, of everything (he said "I am not even going to look over there" when we got to a scary one). There were some scary houses, but when the people saw they were little kids they didn't try and scare them. The boys rang bells until they couldn't carry their own bags, then we went home and sorted it all out. I am really trying to stay out of it.
